Job summary

Portland State University Library seeks an Assistant Manager of Access Services and Library Technology. This full‑time role leads the Library Technology Support Team and oversees tech purchasing, computing labs, and patron support.

As part of Access Services, you will work at Circulation and support equipment like laptops, scanners, and printers. This unranked position supervises two staff and several student employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-4 years work experience in computer science, information systems, educational technology, library technology, or related field.
• Previous supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Library Technology Support Team operations.
• Direct technology purchasing and documentation.
• Provide hardware/software support to patrons and staff.
