Fresno City College is seeking a Library Technology Instructor to join a part-time faculty pool in Fresno. The instructor will teach Library Technology courses using diverse pedagogies across face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats to support a racially and socioeconomically diverse student body.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate equity-minded leadership, collaboration with faculty and staff, and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Equity-minded practices in teaching and engagement with diverse student populations.
• Ability to adapt instruction for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Strong communication with students, faculty and staff.

Responsabilités

• Teach a part-time schedule of Library Technology courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogies and formats including face-to-face, online, and hybrid delivery.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff; provide clear course syllabi.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and timely grading/evaluation reports.
• Fulfilling duties of instructors as required by district policies.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree or higher with related experience

Associate degree with six years related experience

California Community College Credential

Equivalency (requires an equivalency)
