Job summary

Fresno City College is seeking applicants for a part-time Library Technology Instructor pool to teach a variety of Library Technology courses. Instructors will work in a culturally responsive environment and participate in professional development to support a diverse student population in equity-focused ways.

These pool positions are open-ended; start dates vary, and applicants will be reviewed when vacancies arise.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related professional experience; or Associate degree and six years of directly related professional experience; or a valid California Community College Credential; or the equivalent education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Library Technology for Fresno City College, teaching a part-time schedule as assigned.
• Use a variety of pedagogies and instructional delivery systems, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff; maintain required classroom records and timely grading.
