Fresno City College is seeking candidates to join a part-time faculty pool for Business Technology instruction. The college values equity-minded leadership and collaboration across faculty, staff and the community.

Instructors will teach a range of Business Technology courses, operate as instructors of record in labs and introductory classes, and participate in diverse delivery methods including online and hybrid formats, with a focus on student success and inclusive instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related professional experience.
• Associate degree and six years of directly related professional experience.
• A valid California Community College Credential.
• The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency).

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Business Technology and related courses including keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and office procedures.
• Serve as instructor of record in a skill laboratory and introductory courses in general computer usage.
• Use a variety of pedagogies and instructional formats including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Maintain currency in the discipline and implement practices to develop writing skills.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff and adhere to curriculum outlines.
• Turn in all required grading and evaluation reports in a timely manner.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related professional experience

Associate degree and six years of directly related professional experience
