Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in general office, clerical, administrative support or related field.

Responsibilities

• Enter or modify data in databases and applications
• Search databases and the internet for bibliographic data or other data in support of library systems (e.g. Catalog) or applications
• Interpret and apply policies, best practices and procedures
• Attend department and unit meetings, training sessions and special events
• Maintain data on unit activities and prepare routine reports
• Identify and report on recommendations for continuous improvement of the unit’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitor unit supplies
• Order office supplies as necessary
• Participate in unit and departmental projects
• Other duties as assigned
