Worcester State University is seeking an Access Services Library Assistant for the Library, working evenings from 8 pm to 1 am. This is a part-time, non-benefited position reporting to the Library supervisor.
The successful candidate will assist at the Circulation Desk, supervise student workers, renew and discharge materials, help users locate resources, and support interlibrary loan activities while maintaining collections and library operations.

SCHEDULE:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 pm to 1 am
General Statement of Duties: The Part-Time Library Assistant helps students, faculty, and staff at the Library Circulation Desk. The part-time library assistant position is a non-benefitted position.
Responsibilities:
Supervises part-time student workers
Renews and discharges library materials
Helps users locate and use materials
Opens and closes the library
Manages library collections by inventorying, shifting, shelf-reading and barcoding
Assists with interlibrary loan processing
Works on special projects
Collects fines
Performs other duties as assigned
