The Durango Public Library is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician based in Durango, CO to support library staff and community members with public computers, staff devices, and meeting room technology.
You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, coordinate with the City’s IT team, train users, and help them access digital resources. A associate degree and two years’ experience are preferred; SCCM experience is a plus.
The Durango Public Library is a hub for learning, connection, resources, and new ideas. As the IT Help Desk Technician based in the library, you’ll be a primary technology resource for both library staff and community members, supporting public computers, staff devices, meeting room technology, and library systems. In this role, you’ll connect technical systems with everyday user needs. Whether you’re setting up equipment, troubleshooting software, maintaining security cameras, or helping someone access digital library resources on their personal device, your work will support access to information and technology throughout our community.
The starting pay for this position is $49,913 per year, with opportunities for growth up to $69,878 per year based on long-term growth and performance within the role.
