Champaign County Library is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations, ensuring legal compliance and a positive workplace culture. You will guide staffing, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development as a member of the library's leadership team.

The role requires strategic HR leadership, strong communication, and collaboration with the City HR Department to administer benefits and open enrollment, with a schedule of standard hours plus

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification (required).
• Experience in library, educational, or municipal environment preferred.
• Experience with collective bargaining and labor relations (required).
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in public or nonprofit setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Spanish and/or French knowledge helpful.
