Job summary

Washington University in Saint Louis is seeking a Building Operations Coordinator to manage mail, shipping, and transportation across all libraries. This on-campus, full-time position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred) and relevant experience in facilities or custodial services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in Custodial Services, Maintenance, Transportation, or Customer Service.
• Ability to lift and carry tools and materials over 50 pounds.
• Valid MO Class E or IL Class D driving license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage mail, shipping, receiving, and transportation of materials for all libraries.
• Retrieve and deliver materials at on- and off-campus locations.
• Handle special collections materials that are archival or irreplaceable.
• Prepare room setups for libraries events and staff workspaces.
• Assist with evacuations and safety drills as part of library safety.
• Collect and analyze space usage data to inform decisions.
