Job summary

The Seattle Public Library is seeking a Capital Improvement Project Manager to independently deliver CIP projects from start to finish, coordinating design, construction and vendor contracts. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules while maintaining strong communication among all stakeholders.

The role requires leading RFP processes, managing contracts, and ensuring timely project closeout with warranties and final documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Construction or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience managing facilities projects with multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinate with stakeholders and consultants.
• Administer construction phase activities, review change orders, and approve payments.
• Lead project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
