Eagle Valley Library District seeks a Branch Manager to lead a community library branch within a small district. The role combines professional librarianship with strategic leadership under the Library Director, delivering high-quality public service and program development.

The Branch Manager will supervise staff, manage branch projects, and ensure compliance with Colorado library laws, while maintaining strong community partnerships and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Master of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Three years of professional public library work experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience developing collaborations and partnerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a member of the district leadership team to drive strategy and decisions.
• Advocate for library services and oversee branch operations.
• Supervise branch staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Support director with board administration, reporting, minutes, and announcements.
• Ensure safe, compliant branch operations and manage facility systems.
