Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims, directing independent adjusters and vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers, and third party claimants.
• Manages litigation to ensure claims are handled in compliance with jurisdiction.
• Assists Claim Manager in identifying exposures and recommending solutions.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable ultimate payout based on file developments.
• Interacts with primary/excess carriers and reinsurers on high-threshold files.
