Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Level IV NICU Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM. You will join a 108-bed NICU and collaborate with a large team to deliver high-quality care to newborns in a Magnet Hospital environment.

The role requires an ADN/BSN, Texas RN license or compact license, and at least 1 year of NICU experience. Certifications such as STABLE, NRP, and PALS are required or pursued within stated timelines. Excellent benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN with 12 months enrollment and 24 months to complete (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas RN license or compact license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience.
• STABLE within 18 months of start date.
• NRP within 6 months; BCLS within 30 days.
• PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Education

ADN/BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 months to complete (Magnet Hospital)

Texas State RN license or compact license

1 year NICU (Level III/IV) experience in acute care hospital

STABLE certification within 18 months of start date

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
