Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide expert care during the night shift (7P-7A). The role requires a Texas RN license and NICU experience in a high-acuity setting.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and mentor non-licensed staff while integrating teaching into daily practice.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN is required (RN)
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
• 1 year recent Level III/IV NICU RN experience in acute care hospital
• STABLE certification within 18 months of start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor within 30 days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
