Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a Registered Nurse for its Level IV NICU to provide expert patient care during the night shift (7P-7A). The role centers on delivering high-quality, compassionate neonatal care within a 108-bed NICU, under Magnet hospital standards.

Qualifications

• ADN / BSN required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
• 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope of practice
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
