Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level IV) for a full-time night shift 7P-7A. The 108-bed NICU requires clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

As part of a high-acuity team, you will provide direct nursing care, assessments, and care planning, while guiding junior staff and integrating teaching into practice. ADN/BSN and NICU certifications are required.

Qualifikationen

• ADN/BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 months completion (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

Ausbildung
