Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Mainframe/Data Platform Production Support Engineer to provide Level 3 support for critical enterprise data platforms powering Workplace Investing.

You will troubleshoot production issues across Mainframe and distributed environments, focusing on COBOL, JCL, DB2, Oracle, and SQL-based platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle/SQL, Control-M batch tools, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in production environments
• Experience with Mainframe environments: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM
• Strong Oracle and SQL experience
• Experience with enterprise batch processing and scheduling tools, preferably Control-M
• Experience with SQL and REST APIs in backend services and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 production support for enterprise data platforms and applications
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex production issues
• Ensure data integrity and reliability across Mainframe and distributed environments
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to maintain critical systems
