Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Mainframe/Data Platform Production Support Engineer to deliver Level 3 support for critical enterprise data platforms powering Workplace Investing. You will troubleshoot complex production issues across mainframe and distributed environments, with focus on COBOL, JCL, DB2, Oracle and SQL-based platforms.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, experience with CICS/VSAM, and strong Oracle/SQL skills.

Qualifications

The candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, data platforms, or production environments.
Experience supporting Mainframe environments including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
Strong experience with Oracle and SQL including data analysis, query development, troubleshooting, stored procedures, and data validation.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 support for critical enterprise data platforms and applications powering Workplace Investing.
Perform root cause analysis, data integrity checks, and ensure reliability and stability of business-critical systems across Mainframe and distributed environments.
