Job summary

Bowman Williams in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a high-touch MSP delivering IT and cybersecurity services. The role is a dedicated resource embedded with a single client, mixing 2 days onsite with 3 days remote.

You will handle escalations, deployments and day-to-day ownership, working with Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and endpoint management while collaborating with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Previous MSP or client-facing IT support experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals including DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Windows Server.
• Comfortable supporting Windows and macOS.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload independently.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-touch, white-glove environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated technical resource and point of contact for the client.
• Handle Tier 2/3 escalations across Microsoft, networking, endpoint, and infrastructure.
• Build and support technical solutions based on client needs.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure-related configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Conditional Access policies.
• Support Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management.
• Configure and deploy Microsoft cloud-based PCs.
• Support Windows Server 2016+ and related services.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, VPN, and general networking issues.
• Support Cisco Meraki environments and Meraki dashboard.
• Deploy and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
