Job summary

Image Tech in Wixom, MI is seeking a Level II Network Support Technician to handle escalated desktop issues and manage multi-vendor networks. This full-time role requires self-motivation and ownership of complex technical problems.

You’ll work with routers, switches, and firewalls from Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and more, while maintaining security best practices and timely ticket resolutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience, including Level 2/3 work.
• Advanced networking skills across multiple hardware vendors.
• Strong Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well.

Responsibilities

• Act as the top escalation point for desktop and end-user support.

Network Support Technician Level II

Image Tech | Wixom, MI | Full-Time |

We’re hiring an experienced Level 2 Network Support Technician to handle escalated desktop issues and manage multi-vendor network environments. If you’re self-motivated, take ownership of your work, and enjoy solving tough technical problems, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the top escalation point for desktop and end-user support (a major part of this role)
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls from multiple brands (Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, SonicWall, etc.)
• Resolve complex network issues, including VLANs, VPNs, routing, DNS/DHCP
• Manage your ticket queue and projects to completion on time
• Apply security best practices and help keep users and systems protected

What You Need

• [5+] years of IT support experience, including Level 2/3 work
• Advanced networking skills across multiple hardware vendors
• Strong Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 experience
• Ability to work independently and manage time well

Nice to Have

• Kaseya VSA or N-able N-Central experience
• Cybersecurity knowledge (strong plus)
• Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar certifications
• MSP experience
