Job summary

Mariner Finance in Torrance is hiring for a full-time customer service and sales role. You will provide loan solutions, process applications, and help customers find options that fit their needs.

The role requires at least two years in a customer service or sales setting, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, strong communication, and ability to learn industry regulations. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a customer service or sales role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Ability to complete duties in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance products.
• Must perform duties at the assigned branch location unless directed otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by solving problems and presenting loan solutions.
• Process credit loan applications and analyze credit/financial information.
• Proactively contact customers with past due balances to offer solutions.
• Meet or exceed branch goals related to selling company products and services.
• Learn applicable Consumer laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Maintain a cash drawer and deliver deposits to financial institutions as required.
• Perform additional functions as needed to provide consistent quality service.
