Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily Back of House operations, including ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. The role emphasizes making from scratch legendary food and maintaining a positive work culture.

The Assistant Kitchen Manager will supervise production, monitor pace, ensure safety and quality, and help develop Back of House staff, while upholding company values and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant
• Conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Practices safe food handling procedures
• Ensures Back of House employees follow recipes and procedures
• Develops Back of House staff and creates a safe environment
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Maintains culture of the restaurant and lives core values every day
