Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Managing Director to join our Legal Transformation Services (LTS) sales team. This role involves partnering with clients to ensure their long-term success. Epiq’s LTS group specializes in consulting with senior legal leaders on transformational initiatives such as technology enablement, spend reduction, contracts management, and organizational design.

The successful candidate will develop relationships with clients, channel partners, and sales colleagues globally, working with key business executives and stakeholders. They will act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and our business partners to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.

This senior, client-facing role involves working closely with the Legal Solutions Sales (LSS) organization, often in tandem with Account Directors, serving as an LTS subject matter expert, and pursuing opportunities directly. Experience working with senior contacts in legal, compliance, privacy, and IT functions is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify LTS targets with the sales team and lead high-level legal transformation conversations with C-level and senior management executives.
  • Drive the sales cycle to grow LTS offerings and increase revenue across related service lines.
  • Leverage professional networks to identify new opportunities beyond existing clients.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Epiq’s service and technology offerings, building strong, lasting customer relationships.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Act as a conduit between client stakeholders and Epiq’s LTS consulting and delivery teams.
  • Promote Epiq’s LTS services and technology at industry events and publications, and collaborate globally to ensure growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of senior-level consultative sales experience, with 5+ years in account management or related roles within Legal Transformation Services.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including C-level executives.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; JD degree preferred.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000 annually, plus sales commissions. Specific salary will be determined based on location, abilities, performance, and team parity.
