Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to streamline the Legal Organization’s systems, data and vendor management across locations in MA and NJ. The role focuses on outside counsel management, budgeting, and technology deployment to enable data-driven decision-making and efficiency.

This position supports the General Counsel, improves operational efficiency, and scales tools like AI-enabled workflows while maintaining compliance and high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience supporting Legal operations or equivalent.
• Experience with data, reports and metrics to support decision-making.
• Proficiency with common business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience with legal spend analytics and outside counsel management.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day legal operations, including matter management and procurement processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and invoice review tied to legal spend.
• Support implementation of legal tech tools (matter management, e-billing, contract lifecycle systems).
• Coordinate with outside counsel and vendors, including onboarding and compliance with billing guidelines.
• Develop dashboards and metrics for Legal Operations.
