Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Legal Operations lead who can own projects end to end, automate core tasks with AI, and drive compliance across the US and Canada. You will collaborate with our Legal Counsel and cross-functional teams to build scalable processes, manage filings and audits, and protect our brand and products from risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an academically rigorous program with strong performance.
• Track record of owning projects from start to finish.
• Interest in using AI and technology to improve how work gets done, such as a tool, automation, or process you built yourself.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual legal tasks using AI and low-code workflows.
• Lead legal research, contract reviews, and other substantive projects.
• Maintain entity compliance across the US and Canada, handling annual reports and state requests end to end.
• Protect brand IP and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Investigate escalations and translate recurring issues into compliance training.
• Review products and processes for compliance risk and work with Engineering and Product to fix underlying issues.
• Lead audits across operations and monitor the highest-risk areas.
