Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Legal Operations Lead to run core legal processes and rebuild them with AI and low-code tools across the US and Canada. You will own projects from start to finish, automate recurring tasks, and coordinate with our Legal Counsel on contracts, filings, and audits.

You will shape scalable processes in a startup, partnering with product and engineering, and play a critical role in compliance and risk management as Jerry expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a track record of owning projects start to finish.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI and technology to improve how work gets done.
• Experience or interest in automation, AI, or tooling to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Run core legal operations and rebuild them with AI and low-code tools.
• Lead legal and regulatory projects including research, contract reviews, and other substantive work.
• Maintain entity compliance across US and Canada with annual reports and state requests.
• Monitor brand protection and manage intellectual property infringements and workflows.
• Investigate consumer escalations to root cause and convert into training for teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product on product compliance reviews to fix issues.
• Lead compliance audits across operations and identify high-risk areas.
