The role involves preparing and organizing case files, reviewing documents, and updating the firm’s records with case actions and status.

Qualifications

• Availability to work onsite at the New York office 5 days per week.
• Demonstrate an ability to successfully manage competing priorities, with experience creating systems to stay organized.
• Must be driven, ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain file records databases including uploading and updating case documents and emails.
• E-filing
• Follow up or tracking of case status with various courts for states in which the firm services
• Outbound calls to courts as needed
• Obtain information required to comply with requests for production of documents.
• Maintain key case deadlines within the firm's system of record.
• Prepare and process legal documents and business communications as needed.
