Legal Intake Specialist

The role involves establishing relationships with potential clients through telephone interviews. As the initial contact for clients seeking assistance with Veterans’ Benefits and ERISA & Insurance matters, you will learn about our practice areas and legal issues facing clients, with training provided by CCK. The position requires high-volume phone work and administrative duties related to client intake and retention.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary contact for potential clients during the intake process.
2. Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
3. Communicate clearly and accurately in both written and verbal forms.
4. Follow communication scripts for different topics.
5. Gain knowledge of CCK’s practice areas and legal issues faced by clients.
6. Show empathy to clients and provide reassurance during difficult times.
7. Prepare detailed written summaries of client needs for attorneys.
8. Request and review necessary documents from clients.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. At least one year of customer service experience with high call volume.
3. Ability to handle calls for 6-8 hours daily.
4. Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
5. Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
8. This remote role is available in CO, CT, FL, GA, MA, NJ, RI, SC, TX, & UT.
9. Full-time hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm EST.
10. A minimum of 30 Mbps internet upload speed is required; an internet speed test will be conducted during interview.
11. Starting annual salary: $41,600.
