Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a Support Specialist, Human Factors, to manage client-supplied legal materials and summarize depositions and discovery for a busy operations group. You will work with law firms and manufacturers, ensuring professional communications and timely updates to supervising attorneys and project managers.

You will develop concise case summaries, maintain chain-of-custody, and prepare files for transmission to clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework in legal studies or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of paralegal/secretarial/assistant experience in a law firm, legal department, or legal services firm.
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with manufacturers or product liability matters is a plus.
• Proficiency with PACER, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and related legal sites.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage client-supplied legal materials including pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and electronic files.
• Establish and track document deadlines; provide status updates to attorneys or project managers.
• Summarize depositions and discovery materials concisely and accurately.
• Communicate professionally with law firm clients and manufacturer representatives.
• Coordinate subpoenas, redactions, and responsive document production as needed.
