Job summary

Rimkus, a premier global engineering and technical consulting firm, is seeking a Support Specialist, Human Factors in Chicago, IL. You will manage client-supplied materials and summarize depositions and discovery documents for law firms and manufacturers.

You will coordinate with attorneys and project managers, maintain deadlines, ensure chain-of-custody, draft professional correspondence, and support over 100 active cases with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal/legal assistant experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters strongly preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturers or product liability matters a plus.
• Proficiency with PACER, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, Access, Adobe Acrobat.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, log, and maintain client-supplied legal materials (pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, electronic files).
• Establish and track document deadlines; provide status updates to supervising attorneys or project managers.
• Prepare concise summaries of depositions and discovery materials; identify gaps and coordinate with clients.
• Draft professional correspondence and maintain professional communications with law firm clients.
