Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group seeks a Support Specialist, Human Factors to assist the operations group with client services, material management, and deposition summarization. The role focuses on working with law firms and manufacturers to produce concise summaries and maintain chain-of-custody for client materials.

The successful candidate will role-model professional communications, manage deadlines, and support a workload of 100+ active cases, with travel up to 5% locally.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in legal studies preferred.
• Minimum five years paralegal/legal assistant experience in a law firm, legal department, or legal services firm.
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with manufacturers or product liability matters a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Proficiency with PACER and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and related sites.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, log, and maintain client-supplied legal materials (pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, electronic files).
• Establish and track document deadlines; provide status updates to supervising attorneys or PMs.
• Read, analyze, and summarize depositions and discovery materials concisely.
• Draft professional correspondence and transmittal letters; manage escalation of time-sensitive matters.
• Coordinate scheduling of meetings, depositions, and deadlines using shared calendars.
