Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP seeks a Legal Systems & Data Analyst to join the Talent Management team across Chicago, Cleveland, or Columbus. You will optimize VI by Aderant and other platforms, turning data into actionable intelligence for firm leadership, PGLs, and talent management.

The role covers recruitment analytics, compensation support, dashboarding, and process improvements, with emphasis on data accuracy and workflow automation. Strong collaboration with IS and Talent teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in talent management operations, data analytics, or systems support, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VI by Aderant and other talent platforms as identified.
• Liaise with IS product owners to configure systems for evolving talent management needs.
• Train users and develop guides and SOPs.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy across platforms and reports.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation or integration.
• Support change management initiatives for new tools or processes.
• Benchmark compensation metrics against industry standards and peers.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Support the employed lawyer compensation process with LPC.
• Assist with research, benchmarking, budgeting, and data tracking.
• Support additional Talent Management team efforts as needed.
