Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of law-firm billing experience, plus experience with Aderant/CMS. This position may involve hybrid work arrangements and requires strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of law firm billing experience.
Aderant/CMS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Edit prebills to make time and disbursement transfers, time splits, on account transfers, time adjustments and disbursement adjustments.
Print, sort, and distribute prebills and final invoices for attorney review.
Maintain client billing addresses and ensure information is current.
Enter exemptions for billing by the cutoff date and maintain status through month-end.
Monitor approvals for write-offs and monthly exemptions.
Enter alternate rates accurately in the system.
Provide billing statistics using Excel as needed.
Communicate with attorneys to meet billing deadlines.
Submit and track invoices and resolve billing issues.
Update on timekeeper Work in Progress during monthly check-ins.
