Senior Legal Billing Specialist – Law Firm

Hybrid

A well respected law firm has an immediate need for a Senior Legal Billing Specialist. Experience working for a law firm is required as well 3 years of experience working on Aderant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complex billing cycles and provide insightful analysis on client accounts and balances.
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving trouble spots in outstanding receivables.
  • Generate client invoices and internal documentation, ensuring all required backup is accurate and complete.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for implementing client accounting procedures and coordinating billing efforts across teams.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and support staff—responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
  • Support and guide team members by mentoring Client Accounting Assistants and Coordinators.
  • Step confidently into a leadership role in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and files for each partner or client under your portfolio.
  • Partner with supervisors to streamline processes, troubleshoot challenges, and push forward department initiatives.
  • Spot training opportunities and contribute to the continuous development of staff skills.
