Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Trustpoint is excited to partner with a nationally respected AmLaw 100 firm in their search of a Legal Billing Specialist on a direct hire basis. This primarily remote role will require minimal in office attendance. Successful candidates will have 1-3 years of experience with billing in a law firm and must live a commutable distance from the following cities: Chicago, NYC, Washington DC, Reston VA, or Boston.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of billing cycle for assigned attorneys
• Conduct billing analysis and resolve billing disputes
• Collaborate with and instruct new attorneys in billing procedures
• Maintain and implement billing and special fee matrices
• Client and matter database management
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
• 1-3 years of legal billing experience (required)
• Elite 3E billing software experience (preferred)
• 10 key by touch
• Intermediate experience with Excel
• Advanced organizational, written and verbal communication, and detail-oriented skills
• All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
