Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
• 3+ years supervising billing in professional services.
• 5+ years billing experience in law firm or professional org.
• Proficiency with 3E, Elite or Aderant; familiarity with standard collection software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
• Strong verbal and written communication; multitasking and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise billing support staff to ensure service quality and KPIs.
• Manage staffing/workflow and allocate resources by shift/service line.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up and billing accuracy.
• Oversee employee lifecycle: interviewing, onboarding, development, off-boarding.
• Provide training to raise skill levels across the team.
• Communicate effectively with law firms on aged balances and issues.
