Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group seeks an experienced Billing Manager in Downtown Chicago to oversee legal billing following the Aderant implementation. Onsite during training with potential hybrid flexibility afterward; fully remote consideration for highly qualified candidates in legal billing with Aderant expertise.

You will lead the billing team, provide hands-on guidance, train colleagues on Aderant, and manage client bills and electronic submissions.

Qualifications

Strong legal billing experience with Aderant proficiency.
2–3 years of Aderant experience preferred.
Experience with eBilling and LEDES 1998B.
Experience in billing management or team leadership.
Detail-oriented with strong communication.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned legal billing work accurately and independently.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to billing team members.
Train colleagues on Aderant and resolve billing workflow questions.
Prepare, review, and process client bills.
Support electronic billing, including BillBlast and LEDES 1998B files.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, electronic submission issues, and rejected invoices.
Coordinate with attorneys, accounting staff, and other internal stakeholders to complete billing accurately and on time.
Help the team strengthen billing processes following the Aderant implementation.
