Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is seeking two experienced Legal Billers to support the firm after its recent Aderant implementation. These roles require strong legal billing skills and hands-on Aderant experience, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

You will prepare, review, and submit invoices using Aderant, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B, coordinate with attorneys and accounting staff, and resolve billing discrepancies while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• Strong legal billing experience required.
• Hands-on Aderant experience required; ideally, at least two to three years.
• Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
• Ability to work independently and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to begin as soon as possible.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, review, and process legal invoices using Aderant.
• Manage assigned billing work accurately and within established deadlines.
• Review invoices for accuracy and client billing compliance.
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices, including through BillBlast.
• Work with LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys, billing colleagues, and accounting staff to address questions and complete billing.
• Share Aderant knowledge and assist colleagues as needed.
