Job summary

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is seeking two experienced Legal Billers to support the firm after implementing Aderant. You will handle invoices, ensure accuracy, and work with electronic billing files in a fast-paced environment.

Initial onsite training with potential hybrid flexibility; remote candidates with strong Aderant and legal billing expertise will also be considered. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong legal billing experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Aderant, ideally 2–3 years.
• Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, LEDES 1998B.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving.
• Availability to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process legal invoices using Aderant.
• Manage assigned billing work accurately and within deadlines.
• Review invoices for accuracy and client requirements.
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices, including BillBlast.
• Work with LEDES 1998B files.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to address questions.
• Share Aderant knowledge and assist colleagues.
