Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago is seeking two experienced Legal Billers to support its recent Aderant implementation. These temporary-to-hire positions require strong legal billing skills and hands-on Aderant experience, with hybrid work after training and onsite initially.

You will prepare, review, and submit invoices, handle LEDES 1998B files, BillBlast, and coordinate with attorneys and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies, all while maintaining strict deadlines.

Qualificações

• Strong legal billing experience required.
• Hands-on Aderant experience; ideally 2–3 years.
• Experience with eBilling, BillBlast, and LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to begin as soon as possible.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and process legal invoices using Aderant.
• Manage assigned billing work accurately and within deadlines.
• Review invoices for accuracy and compliance with client billing requirements.
• Prepare and submit electronic invoices, including through BillBlast.
• Work with LEDES 1998B electronic billing files.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and electronic billing issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys, billing colleagues, and accounting staff to address questions and complete billing.
• Share Aderant knowledge and assist colleagues as needed.
