Job summary

Purdue University is seeking a Lecture Demonstration Coordinator in West Lafayette, Indiana to oversee the lecture demonstration facility, coordinate equipment and supplies, develop and maintain demonstrations, and manage department AV resources.

This role also serves as the department's Safety Coordinator, partnering with the Safety & Sustainability Office and EHS to promote compliance, safety, and sustainability across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related area.
• Two years of chemical safety experience.
• Familiarity with safety regulations for handling chemicals in chemistry labs.
• Highly organized with the ability to plan ahead.
• Ability to manage student staff and schedules; collaborate with faculty on new demonstrations.
