Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics or a comparable field and 2–3 years of technical lab/classroom experience.
• Experience working with and repairing scientific laboratory equipment using basic tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general computer skills.
• Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds and travel between floors as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• 40% - Classroom Support: prepare, test, schedule, transport, operate and disassemble lecture demonstrations and assist during lectures.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, safety documentation, troubleshooting guides, media resources, and online catalog content.
• Train instructors, students, and staff in safe operation of equipment and demonstrations.
