Job summary

Premise Health in Detroit, MI is hiring a Full Time Leave Management Program Manager to coordinate workers’ compensation, FMLA, and disability programs from our Health Center. The role requires deep knowledge of leave programs and regulatory compliance, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a fixed Michigan location.

You will partner with HR, supervisors, carriers, and safety teams, ensuring accurate leave administration and proactive client support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation or disability services.
• Knowledge of governing regulations and medical terminology.
• Expert in leaves administration and client knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main client contact on strategic integration and expansion opportunities.
• Identify and solve complex problems with proactive approaches and internal support.
• Own client/site meetings, committees, and task forces to support initiatives.
• Escalation point for clients and consult with Medical, Legal or Compliance teams.
• Develop and maintain compliance with ADA, FMLA, and state/local laws.
• Partner with HR, supervisors, and safety teams to deliver training and resources.
• Collaborate with Third Party Administrator to streamline processes.
