Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Leave of Absence Administrator to lead leave case management from intake to return-to-work. You will apply expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and local ordinances, coordinating with payroll, benefits, labor relations and legal to ensure compliance and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include educating employees and leaders on leave processes, determining eligibility for job protection and pay, maintaining accurate case files, and ensuring HIPAA

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Human Resources or related field – or – 4 years of human resources experience
• 2 years with a Bachelor’s degree or
• 4 years human resources experience and
• Customer service experience without degree

Responsibilities

• Educate employees and leaders on leave policies and processes and state/federal regulations.
• Manage leave case from intake to return-to-work with expert knowledge of FMLA/ADA and local ordinances.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, accurate case files and timely communications with employees and leaders.
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits, labor relations, legal, medical providers, risk management and others as needed.
