Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an experienced Leave Administration professional to manage all aspects of job-protected leaves, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, Workers’ Compensation, and Military leave. You will apply policy, track eligibility, and provide guidance to employees and managers while safeguarding PHI.

The role requires deep knowledge of federal and state leave laws, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to tailor recommendations for a diverse UCSF population.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to analyze issues and make recommendations.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal leave laws (FMLA, CFRA, KinCare) and how they impact other areas.
• Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with PHI.
• Knowledge of UC policies, bargaining agreements related to benefits and leave.

Responsibilities

• Administer and track leave of absence cases in accordance with policy.
• Provide consultation and interpretation of leave provisions to employees and managers.
• Tailor guidance for diverse UCSF populations and complex scenarios.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in PHI handling.
