The role emphasizes regulatory expertise (FMLA, ADA, PFML) and strategic planning to align claims activities with the broader workplace goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in disability claims management.
• Exceptional knowledge with leave-related laws/regulations, FMLA, ADA, PFML and pregnancy-related leaves.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to influence decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and management of disability and leave claims, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to maintain high performance and culture.
• Evaluate complex claims and provide direction on disability and leave management.
• Deliver exemplary customer service with timely, accurate communications.
• Develop and implement claims policies to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and operations to align with company goals.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights for improvement.
• Facilitate regular audits of claims processes and drive improvements.
• Identify technology/process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Manage demand and capacity for optimal resource allocation.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
