You will lead a team of claims professionals, partner with HR, legal, and operations, and drive process improvements while delivering outstanding customer service to claimants. The role requires 5+ years in disability claims management, 3-5 years of supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of leave-related laws.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in disability claims management.
• Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA, PFML, Paid Sick Leave, PWFA, pregnancy leaves).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence decision makers and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and management of disability and leave claims, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to maintain high performance.
• Evaluate complex claims and provide guidance on disability and leave management decisions.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to claimants with timely communication.
• Develop and adopt claims policies and procedures for consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, and operations to align with company goals.
• Monitor KPIs and report insights for improvement.
• Facilitate audits of claims processes and implement changes.
• Source opportunities for tech and process improvements in claims.
• Manage demand and capacity to ensure optimal resources.
• Stay updated on disability and leave regulations.
