Job summary

Freeman Webb Company Realtors, LLC is seeking a leasing professional to show and lease apartments to prospective Residents and to maintain positive on-site relations.

You will assist with model homes, lease documentation, and follow-up with prospects. The role includes coordinating maintenance, updating listings, and supporting on-site management to ensure resident satisfaction and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent preferred; or six months to one year related experience or training.
• Ability to generate reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; bilingual a plus.
• Experience in property leasing or on-site customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with prospective Residents requiring information and current Residents with complaints or problems.
• Develops and maintains Resident relations through courteous on-site personnel, timely maintenance, and knowledge of community policies.
• Learn to develop professional sales techniques.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses size, layout, facilities, and lease terms.
• Makes follow‑up calls to prospective Residents who did not complete an application.
• Completes lease forms and collects rental deposits.
• Inspects model condition and coordinates maintenance.
• Updates listings of available rental units and assists with newspaper advertisements.
• Contacts credit bureaus, previous landlords, and employment history for applicants.
• Substitutes for Assistant Manager when needed.
• Adheres to all fair housing laws.
• Attend regular staff, management and department meetings; update weekly work order agendas; pursue training and development.
• Complete and submit weekly activity, traffic and leasing reports; manage basic office equipment.
