Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our on-site team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on presenting the community to prospective renters, processing applications, and executing lease contracts while delivering excellent resident service.

The ideal candidate has prior sales or customer service experience, familiarity with property management software, and a flexible schedule that may include weekends. Our team values growth, training, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required.
• Experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
• Previous leasing experience is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy.
• Must be flexible with work schedule; weekend hours may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters in a professional manner.
• Provide accurate information on the selling features of the community and surrounding area.
• Build positive rapport with potential residents via phone and email.
• Process applications for prospective residents and follow up to maintain communication.
• Prepare lease contracts and related documents.
• Coordinate residents moving in and out and document events for other departments.
• Address resident complaints and help develop solutions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the manager.
