Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our on-site team in Portage, MI. You will present community features to prospective residents, guide them through applications, and prepare lease paperwork.

The role requires prior sales or customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with property management software such as Yardi Voyager. A valid driver's license is needed and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required.
• Experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
• Leasing experience is preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters in a professional manner to appeal to their rental needs.
• Provide accurate information on the selling features of the community and surrounding area.
• Build positive rapport with potential residents by answering telephone and email communications in a timely manner.
• Process applications for prospective residents and follow up to maintain consistent communication.
• Prepare lease contracts and other required documents.
• Coordinate moving in/out and document events with proper departments.
• Listen to resident complaints and help develop solutions.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
